thanks Jana! Ravensbruck was a women's concentration camp, north of Berlin. There were only a few surviving images of known victims, the other picture spaces were left empty. 'Shoah' was taken in the Berlin Jewish Museum- in a long dark quiet room, & on the floor are littered hundreds of metal plates, each inscribed with a unique facial expression. Guests are invited to walk across this floor, stepping on top of all these scattered 'faces'.

People of the world, this month has some serious work on it. I really would like to know who did what. I just had one work, the "this land is our land" and I had the greatest time making it. Content wise it's simple, it's base on the cover of a local magazine on the aftermath of Katrina that really had an impact on me.

So, there is July online!
Well, there are many ideas reflected and some of them i want to highlight. I think it's a general feeling that we feel when we travel, or as we travel, I don't know, but what it's clear is that tre "trip" is present on us. Also the different flavours, the sensations on our mouths, how the senses have been also represented. And of course! How good that nude bleeding, that anonymous sufferer trying to keep his blood, remarquable!
I always enjoy the surrealistic stuff, the b/w pics.
